Confidence Aguiyi is a professional private guide and fixer based in Lagos, Nigeria, with a deep knowledge of West Africa’s cultural landscapes and a passion for sharing them with others. His work spans Nigeria, Benin, Togo, Ghana, and beyond - countries rich with history, tradition, and diversity. A founding member of the Tour Guides Association of Nigeria (TOGAN), Confidence holds a BA in Mass Communication from Babcock University and has earned professional diplomas in Tour Guiding, Destination Management, and Hospitality from institutions in both Nigeria and Ghana. He has travelled widely across the West African coast and is continuously expanding his knowledge of the region through lived experience, fieldwork, and connection with local communities.

Confidence is particularly passionate about the cultural, spiritual, and artistic life of West Africa - festivals, folklore, foodways, and the rhythms of rural and urban life. His tours are rich in detail, shaped by personal travel, research, and a desire to offer guests something meaningful and memorable. From the sacred rituals of the Osun-Osogbo Festival to wildlife encounters in Kainji and Mole National Parks, from historic slave routes to contemporary markets and city life, his guiding style is immersive and adaptable.

He has hosted guests from across the globe, including the Twin Doctors TV crew (USA), Mary Levering of the Library of Congress, photographer Massimo Rumi, The Males Place (North Carolina), Dr Henry Richards, Dr Glenville Ashby, and many others - earning praise for his professionalism, warmth, and ability to bring complex histories to life.
