Our guides speak out on ‘ecotourism’ in Travel Africa Magazine

We are delighted to see three members of the African Private Guides Network (APGN) featured in the latest Travel Africa Magazine on the topic of Ecotourism, in a piece written by the brilliant journalist Holly Tuppen.

Holly’s dedication to amplifying local, on-the-ground, and indigenous voices in her storytelling is something we deeply admire - especially in an industry where those voices can be difficult to access. Many of our guides are based in remote corners of Africa, doing the vital work that brings these stories to life.

At APGN, we want to make it easier for the media to connect with these expert voices. Calling all press - if you’re writing a story about Africa, reach out to us. We can connect you with private safari guides, wildlife specialists, and conservation experts from across the continent. With nearly 50 guides in our network - speaking multiple languages and specializing in areas from history and culture to ornithology and photography - we’re here to ensure the right voices are heard.
